Commissions
I love working on a wide variety of projects and take many kinds of personal art commissions. Most often, I create D&D/TTRPG character portraits, cartoon portraits, realistic portraits, and custom pet portraits. I also paint hand-made pet portraits on wood slices for a cozy, one-of-a-kind keepsake.
Whether you’re dreaming of a pretty pin-up, a magical fairy scene, a colourful fantasy character, a beloved pet, or an entire adventuring party, my goal is to make you something that feels personal and special.

How to Commission Me
Step 1 — Reach Out
You’ve looked through my galleries and like my style! Send me a message describing your idea and what you’re imagining.
Step 2 — Quote & Details
I’ll reply with pricing, availability, and any questions I need answered so I understand your project.
Step 3 — Deposit & Description
Once you’re ready to move forward, you’ll send a clear description of the piece (the more reference pictures, the better!) along with a 50% deposit via e-transfer or Square.
Step 4 — Sketch Phase
I begin work! I will send you a sketch or rough draft. This is the stage where you can request adjustments or clarifications.
Step 5 — Artwork Creation
After the sketch is approved, I complete the illustration and send a low-resolution preview of the finished piece.
Step 6 — Final Edits & Payment
You review the artwork and request any small final changes. Once approved, the remaining balance is paid.
Step 7 — Delivery
You’ll receive a high-resolution file in a Google Drive folder, we'll arrange a meeting, or I’ll mail the physical artwork to you.
And then you get to enjoy your art!!

Frequently asked questions
How do I contact you about a commission?
Email is my primary method of communication. Use the contact form on this page and it will go straight to my inbox. Tell me your idea, include reference images if you have them, and I’ll reply with pricing and availability.
Who owns the artwork and copyright?
You own your character. I own the artwork.
Your commission is for personal use only (displaying, printing for yourself, or gifting). It may not be used for logos, merchandise, branding, or resale.
I retain the right to share the artwork in my portfolio, website, and social media. (If it’s a surprise gift, I’ll wait to post it.)
What do you need from me to get started?
To begin work, I need:
A clear written description of your idea
Reference images (the more the better!)
A 50% deposit
Good references can include character descriptions, mood boards, Pinterest boards, outfit inspiration, or photos of actual people/pets. For pet portraits, it is important to send multiple photos at different angles so I can get a more accurate image in my head of your furry bestie and their personality.
Can I use the art for a business, merch, or a book?
That becomes a commercial project, not a personal commission. When first approaching me for the commission, please let me know what this art is for so we can discuss appropriate licensing and pricing.
How long does a commission take?
Turnaround time depends on complexity and my current queue.
Digital artwork: usually 2–4 weeks
Traditional paintings (hand-painted): usually 4–6 weeks
If you have a deadline (birthday gift, holiday, convention, etc.), please let me know before booking and I’ll tell you if it’s possible.
Can my commission be used for AI or NFTs?
No. My artwork may not be used for AI training, datasets, NFTs, blockchain projects, or similar uses.
How will you update me during the process?
I will always send a sketch (pencils stage) for approval. This is when you can request changes.
After that, I usually send a low-resolution version of the finished artwork for final review. More complex pieces or original character designs may include additional check-ins.
Do you draw NSFW artwork?
I’m happy to create cute pin-ups or “spicy” art up to a PG-13 level.
I do not create explicit sexual content or pornographic nudity.
What won’t you draw?
I won’t accept commissions involving:
Hate or offensive content
Explicit sexual content
Excessive gore or extreme violence
Political or religious propaganda imagery
Other people’s personal characters without their permission
What kinds of commissions do you especially enjoy?
My favourite subjects are cute girls, cats, portraits, and D&D/TTRPG characters. I especially love fantasy characters and magical themes and am always excited to draw more of them!
Can I print or share my commission online?
Yes! You’re welcome to post it or print it for personal use. Making multiple copies of the art for resale is not allowed. Please credit and link/tag me as the artist when sharing online.
How much should I expect to spend on a commission?
Prices vary depending on the size, complexity, and type of artwork, but most personal commissions start around $75 CAD and increase from there. Simple portraits or icons are on the lower end, while full-body characters, detailed backgrounds, or group illustrations cost more. If you’re unsure what fits your budget, feel free to tell me your price range when you contact me. I’m happy to suggest options that work for both of us.
Why do commissions cost what they do?
Each art piece is completely custom, drawn from scratch, and made just for you. A commission isn’t only the final image. It also includes the time spent planning, sketching, revising, and chatting with you about this very special project.
Most illustrations take many hours to complete, often across multiple days. Commission pricing reflects both the time invested in creating your artwork and the professional experience needed to make it look the way it does.
In short, you’re not just buying a picture… you’re getting a one-of-a-kind piece created specifically for you, and that’s pretty magical!

Care to chat?
If something in the gallery caught your eye, I’d love to hear from you. Use the form to reach out about commissions or creative projects. I’m excited to talk about your ideas!
Commission Policies & Information
Personal vs Commercial Use
Personal commissions are for personal enjoyment or gifts only. They are not for branding, merchandise, resale, or any business purposes. Purchasing a commission does not transfer commercial rights of the artwork.
You must not alter, reproduce, or distribute the artwork, and it may not be used for AI training, NFTs, blockchain projects, or similar uses.
If you need artwork for a commercial project, please tell me upfront so we can discuss licensing and project requirements.
Artist Rights & Sharing
I retain the right to share commissioned artwork on my website, portfolio, social media, and promotional materials. (If your piece is a surprise gift, just let me know and I will wait to post it.)
Your characters remain your intellectual property. I will never sell prints of your commissioned character without your permission.
You are welcome to post your artwork online. Please credit and link/tag me as the artist when sharing.
Project Timelines
Because I offer several types of commissions, timelines will vary greatly depending on the nature of the project.
Digital artwork: approximately 2–4 weeks
Traditional paintings (hand-painted): approximately 4–6 weeks
Complexity and my queue can affect turnaround time. If you have a deadline (birthday gift, holiday, etc.), please let me know before booking so I can confirm if it’s possible.
Unexpected life events can occasionally cause delays. If that happens, I will communicate with you as soon as possible.
Communication Process
Email is my primary method of communication.
The better you can communicate the details of the project to me, the better I can meet your expectations. Giving an in-depth description and including multiple reference photos will go a long way!
I will keep you updated on where your commission sits in my queue and send progress images throughout the process. The number of check-ins depends on the complexity of the piece.
I will always send the initial sketch stage for approval. This is the most important time to request changes. After the final artwork is shown to you, there can be some edits to digital pieces but traditional (real media) pieces will have very limited revision ability.
One round of minor edits is included in the price of the commission. Additional revisions may require an extra fee.
Payment & Refund Policy
Payment is accepted via E-Transfer or Square (debit/credit card).
50% deposit required before work begins
Remaining 50% due after final approval
Files or physical artwork are delivered after full payment is received. Shipping costs for physical pieces will be extra.
The initial deposit is non-refundable once work has started, as it covers time already spent on the commission. Completed artwork is non-refundable.
Physical artwork is mailed with insurance. If on the off chance the art is lost or damaged in transit, we can work together to file a claim with the postal service.
